Tobacco-Vape
Texas Youth Tobacco Awareness Program

TYTAP

Texas Youth Tobacco Awareness Program (TYTAP) provides awareness classes for minors that teach them information and skills necessary to quit tobacco use and to avoid using tobacco products in the future.

The program is an 8-hour course taught by an active State of Texas TYTAP licensed instructor during a two-week period in-person as designated by the instructor. The cost of course is $100.00 (non-refundable). This cost is separate from any court-assessed cost. You must repay if the class is not completed and need to retake it for certification.

Participants receive an official Certificate of Completion signed by the DSHS licensed TYTAP instructor as proof the course was successfully completed.
